We had a great stay in Richard’s place and loved Beaufort. The apartment has good size bedrooms. Bathrooms are small but great water pressure and plenty of towels. The kitchen/living room area was a bit smaller than expected but actually fine since we were not there to just hang out anyway. The beds were very comfortable. There is some street noise but a sound machine in the bedrooms helped cover that noise. The area is beautiful and very walkable. Thanks to Richard for maintaining a great apartment.

We had a wonderful stay In Beaufort. The apartment was clean, had the MOST comfortable beds and bedding, and was very walkable to downtown and all the shops and restaurants. Very much enjoyed the location, decor, and functionality of the unit. The unit was very charming. I appreciated the nice touches such as dimmer switches to set beautiful ambiance along with the Vintage light bulbs. Walkable to King Street, lots of dining options nearby. Private porch to relax outside. We visited during record low temperatures, it actually snowed, but the house forced air furnace was exceptional keeping us quite cozy even though older homes such as this one typically are not well insulated. I would assume the Central Air Conditioning would perform much the same in summer months. It was great to have dedicated off-street parking, but it will require you to parallel park in a tight spot. The decor was beautiful; farmhouse chic is how I would describe it. I personally like to have a television in each bedroom which this unit does not probably to maintain an authentic look and feel. The shower is quite large with good water pressure. I would rent this property again.

Can’t beat this location and hospitality of the hosts! The house was comfortable and clean. Upstairs rooms/ bathrooms are tight but that wasn’t a huge issue for our group. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the hosts were flexible enough to let us extend an extra night due to weather conditions at home which made traveling back difficult.

Great place to stay and it looked exactly like the pictures. We did not fully love the parallel parking but thankfully our spot was at the end which made it easier. They do offer street parking though too! Our family enjoyed the quick trip to see some snow!

Loved our stay.  We were four friends and had plenty of room to spread out.  It was well located, walkable to the main area on King Street.  The manager was very responsive and friendly, even helping us out with an early check in.  Overall I would not hesitate to book this home if you need the space and would love to return in the future.

Charming home in a vibrant neighborhood. Richard kindly sorted out parking for us a few blocks away. Parking in Charleston is challenging so this was super helpful. This apartment is up a flight of stairs so ensure your suitcase isn’t too heavy. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and fun location.

The house was updated, clean, comfortable, and spacious. The pictures match the real life  property.  The location was in a safe neighborhood convenient for walking to restaurants, King Street, and other popular attractions. Richard was quick to respond and flexible with check in and out times. One thing to note is there is a rental unit directly above the property. We could hear quite a lot of movement and other noises.

Great modern kitchen and baths.   Great coffee shop nearby called Bad Bunnies Coffee, great for mornings.   Restaurants just couple of blocks away.    Easily walk to King Street where all the shops are.   Highly recommend!

Our experience couldn’t have been any better. I had two concerns which were both alleviated instantly upon arrival. One, I wasn’t sure from the photos if there was a TV in the living area but they’re absolutely is. The second was not being sure whether two teenagers could share the upstairs as it looked like the restroom was specific to only one of the rooms due to the layout but it was actually set up perfectly. Both rooms had their own doors making the one upstairs bathroom very shareable. Otherwise everything was as expected. Quiet neighborhood but walkable to everything including downtown. Great restaurants. Was a particular fan of philosophers and fools, which is a neighborhood bookstore/wine bar. Overall the perfect stay. Would definitely book here again next visit

This apartment was exactly as pictured and described. It was roomy, sunny, clean, neat, nicely remodeled and affordable. The beds were very comfortable. The absolute best feature is the location right in town with all the gorgeous historic homes right behind it, great for those of us who love to walk everywhere. Richard was very responsive. It is two units, one upstairs and one downstairs. We were in the downstairs unit. If you have young children, you might want to try to stay in the downstairs unit due to the pitter patter of little feet that is amplified through the floor and ceiling if kids are moving around upstairs.  Overall wonderful place and fantastic location.

Richard's place was everything we needed for our Christmas get away, only thing missing was a Christmas tree, Lol! The kitchen had everything I needed to fix dinner and perfect space for 4 to enjoy ourselves. I would highly recommend staying here and will again if I have to return to Charleston. Great location - it's an easy 8-minute Uber ride to virtually everything in Charleston, plus the neighborhood is charming, quiet, and safely walkable with some nearby coffee shops and restaurants. The location was great for exploring; walked to restaurants and shops. What truly elevated our stay was the host's exceptional hospitality, allowing us to check in early, gave us dining recommendations, and answered all of our questions promptly. **note- family room could use more comfortable seating but we would definitely stay here again. One of the biggest perks was the reserved parking space, no need to worry about finding street parking, which made things so much easier.
